Faith, hope, and rock 'n' roll. Not three things you'd immediately associate with each other, but with onehundredhours, they merge into one story, one sound.

Started by accident, a one-off gig led to their first tour in California, but the Grand Design is evident since then: 2 independent releases selling more than 16,000 copies with no major distribution or support, and 2 releases with Survivor Records described as “anthemic,” “blistering” and “something of a masterpiece.” Their hectic touring schedule has taken them all over the UK, as well as to Hungary, Norway, Finland, Holland, Denmark, South Africa, Romania, Canada, India and Australia plus several tours in the United States - a live experience often described as simply ‘life changing'.

They are definitely much more than ‘just a band. Believing that a lifestyle of faith demands action, the band, in partnership with the iThemba AIDS Foundation, founded engagehivaids.com in April 2004. Engagehivaids.com is a web-based community created to raise awareness for the HIV/AIDS crisis in Africa. The band's heart is to inspire, challenge and resource young people to live their lives with justice, hope, action and love at the core.

According to Tre Sheppard, lead singer and guitarist of the band, “at the end of the day, we're a rock n roll band and the music carries the hope, explores the doubts and provides a little common ground for all of us to encounter the miracle in the everyday. We hope audiences experience something in the music that will bring us all a little closer to one another and a little closer to grace.”

2005 saw the re-release of the band’s 2004 album Stronger Than My Heart with a remix of the track King Of Every Heart by Paul Hicks (Coldplay, Placebo, Travis) accompanied by a CDrom of the video which was directed by Andy Hutch (The Thrills, Propellerheads).

In 2005 onehundredhours supported Daniel Bedingfield on his 17 date UK & European tour. Daniel, a long-time friend of onehundredhours, gave a personal invitation for the band to guest on the tour. This was followed by a 4 date club tour of the UK.

2006 was a busy year for the guys as they traveled extensively throughout the UK performing at events and festivals. They also toured with Tree63 on their UK dates in December.

In August 2007 the band released their new album ‘As Sure As The Stars’ which sees a huge leap for the band in many ways. With a heart for justice, this new collection of songs sees the band's desire for worship collide with their prayer to impact those outside the walls of the church.

Tree63/Audio Adrenaline producer, Nathan Dantzler, has taken the band forward musically but maintaining their spiritual intensity. Through constant touring, the band has built a strong support base in the UK.
